Studio TimeTailor provides TXT Editor - Notepad as a text editor application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information handled by the app

• Files and document content: The app accesses only files you select through the Android system file picker. File contents are processed on the device for opening, editing, searching, replacing, and saving.
• Recent documents and favorites: File names, file locations or document identifiers, and favorite or recent status may be stored locally on your device.
• App settings: Language, theme, font size, line numbers, word wrap, and similar preferences are stored locally.
• The app does not require account registration and does not request your name, address, phone number, or contacts.

2. Advertising and third-party services

• The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
• Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising interactions, app information, and diagnostic data depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and Google configuration.
• For users in regions where consent is required, the app may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage privacy choices. Personalized or non-personalized advertising may be shown according to applicable law, consent status, and Google settings.
• Studio TimeTailor does not directly receive the contents of your text files through AdMob.

3. How information is used

• To open, display, edit, search, replace, and save text documents.
• To remember settings, recent documents, and favorites on your device.
• To display and operate advertisements.
• To maintain app security, reliability, and legal compliance.

4. Sharing of information

• Studio TimeTailor does not sell the contents of your text files.
• Google and its advertising partners may process information for advertising, consent management, fraud prevention, measurement, and related services.
• Information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Data storage and retention

• Document contents, recent-document information, favorites, and settings are generally stored locally on your device.
• You can remove local data by clearing lists, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the app.
• Data processed by Google or other third parties is retained under their own policies and legal obligations.

6. Your privacy choices

• You choose which files the app may access through the Android system file picker.
• You may manage or reset advertising and privacy choices through controls provided in the app, Google settings, or device settings.
• Where applicable, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to certain processing. Requests concerning data controlled directly by Studio TimeTailor may be sent to the contact below.

7. Children's privacy

• The app is not specifically directed to children. Studio TimeTailor does not knowingly collect children's personal information through an account or server operated by Studio TimeTailor.
• Advertising treatment may depend on age classification, device settings, store configuration, and applicable law.

8. Security

• Reasonable measures are used to reduce unauthorized access or misuse, but no device, network, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
• Users are responsible for choosing appropriate storage locations and protecting access to their devices and files.

9. International processing

• Advertising service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

• This policy may be updated when app functions, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The updated effective date will be shown at the top.

11. Data and Personal Information Deletion

• You can clear the Recent Documents list within the app.
• You can remove items from Favorites or clear the Favorites list within the app.
• You can remove locally stored app settings and related app data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings.
• Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app settings, recent-document information, favorites, and other app data.
• Text files created or edited by you remain in the storage location you selected. If you want to delete those files, you must delete them directly using the app, Android file manager, or another file-management tool.
• Studio TimeTailor does not store your text files on its own servers and therefore does not hold server-side copies of those files.
• Requests or questions concerning deletion of personal information directly controlled by Studio TimeTailor may be sent to studio.timetailor@gmail.com.
